Country
Dancing

In general, any type of a dance is a friendly social activity where
people meet and have some fun. The low pressure atmosphere of our
Country Dances brings an energy into the room where the Clubhouse
comes alive. You can come to watch, dance or try out the new popular
dance craze. In continuing with the MBPOA’s 85 year mission of
community Good Will and Welfare, the MBPOA has held a regular
monthly Country Dance for the more than a year and a half.
Country
Dancers
This activity has been so
positive, that we’ve added a second dance for every month.
Beginning April 2013, from 7:30 to 11:00 PM, the MBPOA will have a
Country Night on the 1st
and 3rd
Friday’s of each month. With 3 lessons taught at each dance, it’s
your opportunity to come out and get involved in a friendly social
life filled with good will and good health. These dance nights are
for pure fun and enjoyment with little to no room for politics. Our
dances attract people from Kings Park to Amagansett. These dancers
come here for more than a dance. They also come to discover a
Historic and Scenic Mastic Beach where people are nice, fun and
friendly.

Then three lovely ladies from Project

stationed at St. Andrews Church to help with Post Sandy Hurricane
Relief.

Our newsletter has been going through some changes over the
last few months. We have been acquiring more advertisers to aid in
financing our newsletter and in providing a convenience for our
membership. In the past we began to deliver our newsletter via
email for those who wished to receive it this way, and cut down on
the clutter coming into their homes. Now we have started to archive
our newsletter online so that if a member misplaces their newsletter
they can look it up on line.
The address for out newsletter archive
is : http://mbpoa1928.blogspot.com/
There is a like to the advertisers on
the online archive also.
In
addition the number of our advertisers and the new format have
necessitated that an additional page be added to our printed
newsletter. This page will be in the form of a pullout section that
can be saved on your refrigerator. Please save this sheet so you
may support our advertisers more easily.
