President’s Message

Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone had a good winter, and are as happy as we are, that the snow and cold weather is behind us for a while.

We have been busy getting the Marina open for May 12th with Security Guards in place, and electric & water available. In preparation of the opening, we replaced many missing boards, numbered the slips, and will continue throughout the season to do any maintenance that is required.

Remember, this year additional security is available for your boat through Black Hawk Security. To be able to view your boat 24/7 from your phone or computer, call Brian at Black Hawk 888-257-5702 for more information.

Boat slips are still available and can be reserved by calling Kevin Collins at the MBPOA office at 631-399-6111.

  • MBPOA stickers must be applied to boats, trailers & cars
  • Trailer parking is North of the ramp
  • Electric outlets are available for recharging, but not for continuous plugin
  • Hoses must be removed from spigot after each use
  • Trash is carry in-carry out
  • No wooden ladders permitted; aluminum ladders available for purchase; see security guard
  • Cleaning of fish in Marina is not allowed.
  • Absolutely No power washing of boats at Marina

As you may have noticed, we had fencing installed around the perimeter of the clubhouse grounds and by the time you get this, the sprinkler system and seeding will have been completed in anticipation of outdoor family events. I find it extremely appropriate that the first event we have is the 90th birthday celebration party of the MBPOA. Details about the party are still in the planning stages and will be announced. Suggestions are welcome for any yard games or events you would like to see.

Thank you and have a Great Summer,
Frank DeLustro
